We, the lay members of the Chevalier Family, are a communion of people, animated by a Spirituality of the Heart, which has its roots in the charism of the Founder, Fr. Jules Chevalier.
Together with the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart, the Daughters of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart and the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart. we, the Lay people also belong to the Chevalier Family, and share the same Charism, Spirituality and Mission with Father Chevalier’s religious families.
Our motto is: “May the Sacred Heart of Jesus be Loved Everywhere.”

Heart of Jesus society is registered in 30 September 1985. To conduct the works of the congregation of the missionaries of the sacred heart of Jesus in the state of Karnataka and elsewhere. To provide, support and administer social centers and other charitable, social and religious works for the poor and unimportant youth especially the rag pickers. To Support and promote the advancement of educational activities among its centers and branches and to encourage educational assistance irrespective of religion, race, caste, community and social status.
